Restaurant Solutions, Inc. (RSI) is a Colorado-based company that provides operational and financial management training and tools for owners and managers of independent restaurants around the country. Founded in 2000 by an ambitious group of restaurant-industry veterans, the company created the first corporate level management system designed for independent restaurateurs. RSI's clients have access to up to the minute financial reports that include key business indicators so managers can make adjustments to menus, staffing levels and other expenses on the fly.
Core to the company's success is the belief that training and education must be incorporated into any financial management system for restaurateurs to achieve results. Included in the RSI portfolio are turn-key solutions for: front-of-house and back-of-house systems; implementation of operational and financial controls; point of sale systems; financial statements and accounting procedures; budgeting; operational cash flow management; menu engineering assistance; and the development and implementation of staff training systems. As of November 2012, RSI works with over 700 independent restaurants in 42 states.
